Farhana H. Independent Product Builder

I build things I wish existed.

Apps, marketplaces, directories, learning tools, and experiments — built around problems worth solving.

Selected Work

A few things I’m building.

01

Nayl

Part of a broader faith-based product portfolio.

An Islamic finance navigator for understanding financing structures, comparing providers, checking availability, and learning the essentials before making a decision.

Part of a broader set of faith-conscious and community-centered products.

02

Grant Router

One of several products focused on funding and opportunity access.

A grant-discovery and application-readiness product that helps people find relevant opportunities, understand fit, and organize what comes next.

Part of a broader set of founder, funding, and opportunity-access tools.

03

Shujog

One of several products built for solo and early-stage founders.

04

And quite a few more in various stages of development.

Investor Interest

Interested in the portfolio, not just one product?

I’m building across several product categories — including faith-conscious products, founder and funding tools, education technology, marketplaces, directories, and operational systems.

If you invest in early-stage products and want to hear about future fundraising or strategic investment conversations across the portfolio, join the investor interest list.

This is an expression-of-interest list only. It is not an offer to sell securities, and submitting the form creates no investment commitment.

02 / What I Do

What I Do

01

QA

Test real user flows, edge cases, regressions, devices, data states, permissions, persistence, and release readiness.

02

Product

Define the problem, scope the MVP, map workflows, write requirements, prioritize, and manage readiness from idea through launch.

03

Build

Turn an agreed scope into a practical web app, mobile app, internal tool, workflow system, directory, or lightweight product.

04

Consult

Help solo founders shape an early idea, decide what to build first, choose a practical build path, and move toward a working release.

03 / Work With Me

Start with 10 minutes.

Tell me what you are building, testing, untangling, or trying to get out of your head and into a working product.

The first conversation is intentionally short. If there is a fit, we can move into QA testing, product management, a done-for-you build, or idea-to-ship guidance.

01

QA Testing

Hands-on testing across complete user flows, edge cases, regressions, devices, persistence, permissions, data integrity, and release-critical failures.

02

Product Management

Turn an unclear problem into a scoped product: define the user, MVP, requirements, workflows, priorities, acceptance criteria, and release gates.

03

Done-for-You Product Build

A focused web app, mobile app, internal tool, workflow system, directory, or lightweight product built from an agreed scope through testing and handoff.

04

Idea-to-Ship Guidance

DIY-friendly support for solo founders who want to build the product themselves but need help choosing the right first version, tools, workflow, and next steps.

How paid work starts

01

10-minute intro

Start with a short conversation about the problem, current stage, and the kind of help you need.

02

Scope in writing

If there is a fit, the work is defined clearly in writing: deliverables, boundaries, timing, and what is not included.

03

Secure payment

For paid work, a secure payment link is sent after scope is agreed. Work begins after the agreed payment or deposit is received.

No public packages or one-size-fits-all pricing. Paid work is scoped individually. Secure payment is handled after the scope is agreed.

Written-first and async-friendly: intake, shared documents, screenshots, recorded demonstrations when useful, and written progress updates.

04 / Writing

I can explain.

Notes on building products, learning as I go, meeting people, making mistakes, and figuring out what comes next.

06 / About

About

I’m Farhana H., an independent product builder in New York. I work across product strategy, QA, implementation, and systems thinking, usually around problems that are messy, repetitive, under-served, or harder than they need to be.

My work spans consumer apps, directories, learning tools, operational systems, and AI-assisted products. I stay hands-on from early product definition through testing and launch readiness.

07 / Contact

Tell me what you’re working on.

A few sentences is enough. Tell me whether you need QA, product help, a done-for-you build, or guidance taking an idea toward launch. I’ll reply by email to arrange the short intro.
